Each evening from 1 November a new tradition will see locals and visitors gather on Scarborough Beach in a vibrant celebration of our most precious asset - our sunset. The Scarborough Sunset Applause starts as an individual’s expression of gratitude, before erupting into a collective appreciation of the day that was, and the evening that is to come.
Local businesses and the Scarborough community are championing the Applause each evening - and we invite you to join us and be part of this new tradition.

The BIGGEST Scarborough community event of the year was a great success, starting with kid's activities from 5 PM, including bubbles and face painting, and then performances and carols from 6 PM, all ending in a massive fireworks display around 8 PM. It was a great night out for the whole family for only a gold coin donation, supporting Muscular Dystrophy WA.
Plans are already underway for the 2019 carols, with a date yet to be set.
Thanks to everyone for their support.
